A part of the Millard Fillmore quote series, this sticker is from Fillmore's philosphy and commentary about the politics of his time. As a Northerner, he detested slavery, but in order to keep peace in the United States, he passed the Compromise of 1950 which delayed the civil war (unfortunately for Fillmore's own legacy). While a smear on his presidency in today's world, Millard's dedication towards compromise is most notable and can be carried into today's highly volatile and polarized political environment.
We can endure. We can remove.
And we can save the last hope of free government.
